Savory Salsa 1 oz.

Savory Salsa is a crowd pleaser! Everyone will LOVE your homemade salsa!

You will need:

  • 1 can (14.5oz) of petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (14.5oz) of crushed tomatoes
  • ½ lime (1 Tbsp), juiced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Mix contents of package, tomatoes, lime juice, and spices together. Refrigerate for 3 hours before serving. Serve with chips, or use in any recipe that calls for salsa. Makes about 3 ½ cups of salsa.

Recipe Variations:

Black Bean Salsa

  • Mix Savory Salsa mix as directed above
  • ½ can of black beans

Corn Salsa

  • Mix Savory Salsa mix as directed above
  • 1 (8oz) can of shoe peg corn or  regular canned corn

Fire Roasted Salsa

  • Use fire roasted canned tomatoes (we recommend Muir Glen Organic)

Spicy Salsa Variation

  • Mix Savory Salsa mix as directed above
  • 1 jalapeno, roughly chopped
  • 1 habanero pepper, roughly chopped
  • Optional: add ¼ tsp chili powder

Directions:

  • 1 C Sour Cream & 1 C Mayonnaise    Or
  • 1 C Sour Cream & 8 oz pkg Cream Cheese, softened

Mix together thoroughly. Best flavor after 3 hours of refrigeration. Great with chips, crackers, pretzels and veggies!

Hot Dip Directions:

  • 1 pkg of Dip Mix
  • 1 pkg Cream Cheese (8oz)
  • ½ Stick Butter
  • ¼ C Sour Cream
  • 2 T Milk or Cream

Combine and heat on top of stove, stirring constantly.

Cheeseball Directions:

  • 1 pkg of Dip Mix
  • 2 (8oz)pkgs Cream Cheese
  • 2 T Butter
  • 1/4C Parmesan Cheese

Mix ingredients and refrigerate for about an hour until mixture can be formed into a ball. Roll ball into Parmesan cheese and chill 2 hours before serving.
